It is a collection of poetry that has been written by various writers who were attending the 2012 Tiego Creative Writers poetry workshop at the Museum Africa Newtown, Johannesburg. After listening to talent that was presented, Phillimon Tiego Tjale, founder and Chairperson of Tiego Creative Writers, decided to take everyone’s poems and compile a book called My Pillow which is named after one of the poems, influenced by his nephew’s ideas Thabang waga Tjale.
