No one can replace a father in a child’s life. Sometimes as adults and parents we take things for granted. When we see children grow up we just look at them from the outside and can be fooled by some of the things that we see them do and think they are happy. Truth be told! Children that grow up without their fathers, no matter the reasons for that are crying inside. When I say children here I am not talking about age. Anyone that does not or has not enjoyed the benefits of having a father growing up has scars that no one can heal. This gets worse if this person who is supposed to be the father is still alive somewhere but does not care to reach out and find where this child is. Absent fathers must know that many of the wrongs the young people are engaged in, they do because you were not there to teach them a better thing. Fathers don’t do their children a favour by staying away from them but they are increasing the pains of being fatherless daily. It is those pains that have caused some children to be criminals, abusers, paedophiles and irresponsible men. If only fathers can reach out and save our nation from destruction. Being a good father does not require any miracle from you. You just need to take a decision and the rest will take care of itself. All children need their fathers!!!
