Jasmine Khan self-published her first book, “Experience the flow” at the age of 69. This was followed by “Behind closed doors” and “Enter the flow of Ramadan”. She has been writing a column for Muslim Views for the past 11 years. Her second book is a compilation of the articles she wrote for three years under the “Stop the cycle column” in Muslim Views. During 2011 the column underwent a name change and is currently still appearing under the title “From Consciousness to contentment”.
Over the years Jasmine Khan has developed several workshops which she facilitates in the community to help women accept their self-worth; these workshops are designed with Allah Consciousness. In addition she takes women on a Spiritual retreat every year before Ramadan; here too the material presented has been developed and constructed by her; aided by extensive research.
Her greatest passion is to see women accept the wonderful creation they are meant to be; and to this end she offers counselling to women who are struggling with emotional imbalance.
She is the mother of two sons and five grandchildren. In her spare time she is a prolific reader and loves the outdoors, particularly walking along the seashore where she is already contemplating her next book.
