ABOUT THE AUTHOR: G.G. Fisher is a Freelance Writer who resides in the Western Cape. When she gave birth to her eldest daughter, she was re-ignited with new found inspiration to pursue her dream of becoming a published Author. During her pregnancy, at the tender age of 26, she was informed that there was an awfully strong possibility that her daughter could be born with Down’s syndrome. She saw it as an opportunity to write a fiction story through a young mother who went through the emotions and decisions of having to terminate, or save the life she was carrying. She used it as a basis for her first fiction novel Saving Hannah in the hope of touching the hearts of so many mothers and mothers-to-be who often go through so many trials and tribulations in solitude silence.
