Title: A Mermaid’s Journal
Author: Beatrice Heather Kidd
Size: 250mm x 190mm, 200 pages
ISBN: 978-0-620-58235-3 (print)
The mythical mermaid exchanged her fishtail for legs, and forfeited her toungue to have a relationship with a handsome mortal prince she spied from beneath the waves.
Now in this life you, as a woman who was a mermaid in her previous existence, can define yourself as you write your thoughts, feelings, fantasies, wishes, hopes and expectations on these pages. This process of expressing yourself brings coherence and order to your purpose and you will gain understanding of your mythical origins; find energy for the mortal challenges that lie ahead; and crucially comprehend your spiritual destination. As you live and as you write, you become who you are – an individuated, feminine and spiritual being in a matrix of relationships with all humanity.
Extracts and quotes in this journal have been taken from the book “Anatomy of a Mermaid” in which the author, Beatrice Heather Kidd, uses the metaphor of a mermaid to respect the dual nature of the feminine psyche.
